Learn how Hands of Hope Heals Adams County Sex Trafficking Victims May 13

When young Denver-area girls are victims of sex trafficking, they are often two to six years behind in school. If they escape their abusers, who helps them heal? Extended Hands of Hope is an Adams County nonprofit that offers a safe home and counseling.

Extended Hands of Hope Founder and CEO Karen Harness will speak to the Adams County League of Women Voters about their program on Monday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m. at Community Reach Center, 11285 Highline Drive in Northglenn.

Extended Hands of Hope operates a safe home, Avanti House, and educational services.

Karen Harness founded Extended Hands of Hope to help girls ages 12 to 17 recover from the trauma of being sexually trafficked. Learn about its services May 13 at 6:30 p.m.

The League of Women Voters of Adams County, Colorado is part of a national network that is nonpartisan, grassroots and multi-issue— a recognized force in shaping public policy.
